Macroprinters Appoints Mitsui & Co. Graphic System Ltd. As Its Distributor
in Japan

Magshimim, Israel, August 25, 1999 - NUR Macroprinters Ltd., a leading
manufacturer and marketer of wide-format digital inkjet printing systems
and consumables (NASDAQ: NURM), today announced that it has appointed
Mitsui & Co. Graphic System Ltd. (MGS) as its distributor in Japan
for the company's wide and superwide format digital printing systems.
MGS has begun its marketing and sales efforts in Japan under the supervision
of NUR Asia Pacific Ltd., the Asian-based subsidiary of NUR Macroprinters

Commenting on the new partnership with MGS, Amir Noy, Managing Director
of NUR Asia Pacific Ltd., said, "We look forward to introducing our
products into the Japanese market and believe that, with MGS as our
partner, we are well positioned to replicate the success that NUR's

On April 26 of this year, the parties signed a letter of intent brokered
by the Israeli-Japanese investment bank, Triangle Technologies. The
formal distribution agreement signed between the parties is a result
of the relationship established between the two companies at that
time. |
