Amir Pomerantz, President

Amir Pomerantz, President of Triangle Technologies since 1994, has extensive international experience in marketing, business development and finance, as well as 10 years in R&D management in the areas of software and communications. Mr. Pomerantz has served as a marketing and business development executive in several leading Israeli software companies. As the director of Asian marketing for Tecnomatix (NASDAQ:TECNOF), he established and expanded the company's sales in Japan and other Asian countries. Mr. Pomerantz holds a B.Sc. degree in industrial engineering and an M.B.A. from Tel-Aviv University.

 

Yoshinori Oikawa, Partner

With Triangle Technologies since 1992, Yoshinori Oikawa has been instrumental in Triangle Technologies' pioneering of relationships between Israel and Japan. Mr. Oikawa's expertise is in the areas of life sciences, medical devices and technologies, and information technology. Before joining Triangle Technologies, Mr. Oikawa was engaged in managing a family business in Japan. Mr. Oikawa received a B.Sc. degree and an M.B.A. from Hebrew University.

 

Dr. Tsutomu (Tom) Kobayashi, Executive Vice President and Head of Japan Operations

Dr. Kobayashi joined Triangle Technologies' Japan office in 2000 as Vice President for Business Development. Prior to joining Triangle Technologies, Dr. Kobayashi served as Vice President and Deputy General Manager of Sharp Corporation's R&D group. Prior to Sharp, among other positions, at different times he was in charge of Digital Equipment Corporation's and Apple Corporation's R&D in Japan. Dr. Kobayashi has a Ph.D. from Yale University in Physics. Dr. Kobayashi has extensive international business development experience, and led many of Sharp's international technology alliances.

 

Nobuo Taku , Vice President

Mr. Taku joined Triangle Technologies in 2006 as Vice President. Prior to joining Triangle Technologies, Mr. Taku served as representative of Teva API Japan. Prior to Teva he served over 28 years in various senior developments, research and marketing positions in Kaneka. Mr. Taku was responsible for W.W. marketing of key intermediates of antibiotics and various kinds of commodity to fine chemicals. Mr. Taku received a B.Sc. degree in Economics from Chuo University.

 

Masayuki Takasu, Senior Advisor, Medical Markets

Mr. Masayuki Takasu joined Triangle Technologies after serving for over 25 years in various senior research and development and marketing positions in Topcon Corporation, a leading Japanese developer of medical equipment. At Topcon, Mr. Takasu was responsible for the development and marketing of numerous ophthalmic and medical devices, and holds 26 patents in related areas. Mr. Takasu received the B.M.E. degree from Tokyo University of Science.

 

Dr. Hisanobu Hashimoto, Senior Advisor, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology

Dr. Hashimoto is a Senior Advisor to Triangle Technologies, responsible for projects in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. From 1976 to 2003, Dr. Hashimoto filled a number of important research, regulatory, and business positions at Upjohn Japan and Pharmacia Japan, including head of global licensing and global business development. Dr. Hashimoto received the Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry from Hokkaido University in 1974.

 

Kikuzo Abe, Marketing Advisor, Information Technology

Mr. Kikuzo Abe is a senior marketing advisor at Triangle Technologies, having served for over 20 years in sales, marketing and general management positions at Hewlett Packard Japan and Digital Equipment Corporation Japan where in his last position he was general manager for financial markets. Mr. Abe has also worked in broadband and wireless communications technologies.

Takeshi Okatomi

Takeshi Okatomi - Formerly Chairman and CEO of Toshiba America, Inc., from 1988-1997 Mr. Okatomi was a director of Toshiba and served in numerous senior executive positions in Toshiba Corporation, including Senior Vice President of Toshiba's Information and Communications Group and Executive Vice President of the Video and Electronics Media Group. 1997-2001 Mr. Okatomi served as Chairman and CEO of Time Warner Entertainment of Japan. Mr. Okatomi is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

 

Dr. Seiji (Frank) Sanda

Dr. Seiji (Frank) Sanda - Dr. Sanda currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Japan Communications Inc. (JCI), a Tokyo based telecommunications service provider for the corporate market and Japan's first MVNO. Dr. Sanda also serves as a Chairman and CEO of Computing Communications Technologies Inc in Colorado Springs. Sanda served as a member of the board of directors of Candescent Technologies, and until recently was a member of the Board of Directors of Xilinx Inc. (NASDAQ:XLNX). Previously Sanda was the Chief Executive of Apple Japan and the Senior Executive responsible for starting the cellular telephone business in Japan for Motorola Inc. Dr. Sanda has served in officer positions with Merrill Lynch & Co in New York and with Citibank in Hong Kong, Macau and Tokyo. Dr. Sanda earned his doctorate degree in electrical engineering, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

 

Makoto Naito

Makoto Naito – Currently head of the Candle Software Division at IBM Japan, Mr. Naito previously was President, Candle Software Japan, and Vice President, Broadband IP Services Business Division, NTT Communications Corp. Formerly the COO and President of Akamai Technologies, Japan, and Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment responsible for the Sony PS3 business development. In his 25 year career at Sony in Japan, the US, and the UK, Mr. Naito served in numerous sales, marketing, business development, and general management positions. At Sony America Mr. Naito led Sony's internet content and commerce business. In Sony Japan, Mr. Naito served as a general manager of Sony's corporate R&D planning department.
